The students of the course Construction and programming workshops They created a project on the theme 'The magical combination of the helicopter, the crane, and the boat.'

Educational Benefits
The educational benefits of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and educational robotics are numerous. Education in these fields helps students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaborative skills. Additionally, education in STEM and robotics can enhance students' understanding of the technology and science that surrounds them. Overall, these activities can encourage the development of skills that are essential for students' future success in a technologically advanced society. In the context of the mentioned project, students learn about the concept of rotational motion and the work of force (lifting an object = applying a force at least equal to its weight) through playful learning. Thus, they have the opportunity to interact with each other and take an active role in the learning process by discovering and improving cognitive and socio-emotional skills.
Scenario
The project represents a unique friendship on a small island.
Once upon a time, on a small island, there was an abandoned crane. The crane felt so lonely. So, it decided to go for a walk to make new friends.
As it walked through the forest, it saw a lake ahead. In the lake floated a boat. The crane decided to befriend it. So, it climbed on it and they started their walks together.
As they floated together, they heard a loud noise. They looked up and what did they see? A helicopter!
They shouted loudly, “Do you want to be our friend?”. The helicopter replied, “YES”.
So, together they continued their walk. The crane showed its new friends many beautiful places. From that day on, they became inseparable friends.
Moral of the story: Friendship is the development of mutual support and the broadening of horizons.
Technical information
Crane: With the early simple machines kit, we built a crane and used LEGO WeDo parts. Specifically, we helped in raising and lowering the 2 levers through a shaft and a pulley connected to the motor. The motor was connected to a central control unit, and after creating the corresponding code on the tablet, movement could be applied to the object.
Boat: With the early simple machines kit, we built a boat and used LEGO WeDo parts. The boat moves in 2 ways. With the help of the 2 levers, it manually moves the pulleys at the back and through a shaft that is connected to the motor (also connected to the central control unit), it rotates the propeller left and right for 5 seconds with the corresponding programming on the tablet.
Helicopter: In this specific construction, we used kit early simple machines pieces and lego WeDo parts. The mechanism is electronic. The hub gives the commands and the motor provides movement to the construction. More specifically, the helicopter consists of 2 gears connected to each other and a shaft for the rotor to rotate while 3 levers connected with 2 rubber bands and another shaft which is placed on the motor to move the levers have also been used.
